To get the drops you just need to be watching the Major matches on GOTV or Twitch.
- Watching on GOTV
Open CSGO, and go to the tab “Watch”, then if a game is being played simply click to watch it.
- Watching on Twitch.tv:
You need to have a twitch account. If you don’t have it already you can create one. It’s easy and fast to sign-up on Twitch. Then connect your twitch account to your steam account.
To connect your twitch to your steam, just login on twitch, click on your twitch nickname on top page then choose “Settings”. On settings page, click on “Connections”.
You will see Steam below, click on the check sign on the right. You will be redirected to a Steam login page. Login with your steam and the check sign on Twitch will turn from grey to green, meaning that now your accounts are connected.

You can leave your PC tuned on Twitch on the Major channel so you will be “watching” the matches all day long and maybe get a drop.
If leaving your computer on it’s not an option you can download the Twitch.tv app to your smartphone. It’s the same thing as on computer. You just need to sign in on Twitch app with your twitch username and you will be fine if you already connected your steam account to your twitch.tv account.
If you don’t have access to Wi-Fi on your smartphone and you can’t spend bandwidth of your mobile data you can change the quality settings of the stream to Mobile.
A lot of users say but i can’t confirm that you can get Souvenir Drops with the stream paused. This is a great alternative to save that mobile data bandwidth.

The only way to increase the chances of getting a drop is to use multiple twitch and CSGO accounts. If you have a smurf account put it to use!
You can create more twitch accounts and link them to your smurfs. To watch the stream with several accounts, you can watch twitch with one account and other account on GOTV or use multiple browsers logged in with different accounts. You need to use different browsers. You can download several like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari.

was added to CS:GO and it appears that they will never be fixed. I have described the following issues in the past on the mailing list to clear up confusion for server admins. This is a huge problem for any server admin who needs to record demos in order to review cheaters since that requires enabling GOTV.GOTV being counted as a bot is handled differently by the internet games tab in the external steam server browser and the in-game server browser. This has unintended side effects which can seriously affect a public servers ability to become populated when empty or become full when there is 1 slot left. I will be using a 20 slot server for my example. Outside the game, an empty server will always show as having 1 player (1/20).
Using the in-game steam internet games browser tab, 1 player is subtracted from the maximum players as well as the real players. When a server has 1 player on it, it will appear to be 0/20, meaning most players will overlook it assuming it is empty (or worse have it filtered out by the browser). With 2 players connected, it will appear to be 1/20, which can also cause it to be overlooked if the player has learned anything from the external browser which shows all empty GOTV servers as 1/20. This may seem minor at first, but you will quickly find out that it can have a terrible effect on a public servers ability to become populated when empty. Unless 2-3 players happen to connect at the same time, players will rather connect to another server which does not have GOTV enabled.
By default a 19/20 server will show as full (19/19) causing players to queue for a slot. The only way the last slot can be used is by connecting manually using the connect <address> command in console, which most pub players don't even know how to do. You may say a possible workaround would be to set sv_visiblemaxplayers to 21, that will however cause further unintended side effects, such as completely breaking the ability to queue for a slot when the server is full.

We recetly found a bug (?) or something on our server.
Sometimes when it says the server is 21/24 or 22/24 or 23/24 and people trie to join they got rejected whit the message that the server is full. Not always but it happen mostly. It's relly rare to se the server to fill up to 24/24 cause of this, but sometimes its manages.
We run SM on our server whit som basic plugins (reserve slots plugin is deleted) + weapon restrictiont + ping kicker + bank.
Does anyone getting the same?
