Jacksonville Area Mopars Poker Run, Jacksonville, Florida. 73 likes 1 talking about this. A Poker Run to raise funds for local charities by bringing together Car, Truck, Motorcycle enthusiast. Organizers of the Boyne Thunder Poker Run, the 11th annual event on Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan slated for July 11-12 in Boyne City, Mich., and the Western New York Offshore Powerboat Association’s Buffalo Poker Run, which takes place August 8-9, have started waiting lists as their 100-boat limits have been met. With the first race of the American Power Boat Association Offshore Championship Series happening just a couple of hours south in Cocoa Beach, Fla., the Jacksonville River Rally and Poker Run had a least one event to compete with last weekend. 2017 marks the 16th year for the Jacksonville run. In its hay-day the run attracted over 100 boats. Harris hopes the run will keep growing and eventually returns to that level of participation. This year’s event saw over 30 boats and about 120 registered participants. The 2020 Jacksonville River Rally + Poker Run is only 3 weeks away. Our vendors have been amazing to work with. The restaurants, host hotel, marina, etc have been optimistic and enthusiastic about hosting us. However, despite this optimism, there are too many uncertainties to continue planning for this event for 2020.
